Delfini Hotel - Piraeus

Very convenient for ferry access but far too noisy, making it hard to sleep.

The bed was very bad, that's sad thing.

The property is impeccably clean; a nice size and brand-new rooms; good bed. The staff are really friendly and excellent and offer wake up calls and ironing free of charge. The ambiance is warm! Nice food options are available for buffet breakfast. The setting is unbeatable, close to Piraeus for boarding ferries to the islands, ferry terminals and Athens center, great area. Also, I visited Electric Railways Museum, it's just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel.

Consider asking for a room on a higher floor to reduce noise from the street and improve your sleep quality.

Next to a port, the location was magnificent and good, next day's ferry. The queen room with bunk beds as well as the main bed had basic facilities you need. The staff was pretty friendly and excellent, so I would stay here again and again.

I stayed here for one night before catching a ferry to the islands, and the location was perfect since it was really close to the port. The setup of the rooms is quite interesting. One of our rooms had three sets of bunk beds, which was great for the kids. We appreciated that the towels and sheets were clean and that there were several dining options just around the corner.

Nice clean sheets and air conditioning helped keep me comfy. My single room had a balcony with a view, a tv to relax, and a private bathroom with a shower. I appreciated the key access and having a socket near the bed. Location was super close to the ferry port, just a short walk. Totally served my needs.

I could hear every little sound from the hallway and neighboring rooms, including loud conversations and even water usage. The air conditioning unit turned off during the night, leaving me sweltering until morning.

Room cleanliness left much to be desired, with hair found in the bathroom and a lingering tobacco smell. The building showed significant wear, and the location felt unsafe with noticeable debris and odors outside. The mattress comfort was subpar, and the amenities were dated to the point of concern.

Delfini is a great transit hotel. It's only 100 m from the karaiskaki bus stop. Gate 7 for the ferry to syros is just around 80 m away! The ladies at reception were friendly and cute.

Solo traveler on a budget!

Room had air conditioning that worked well, and I really appreciated that they offered clean sheets and towels. Plus, they had a vending machine in the lobby stocked with drinks, a lifesaver after a long day!

It wasn't exactly cheap for what you got, but still somewhat acceptable.

Delfini offers a supremely convenient location directly across from the ferry terminal, with access to island transportation. The hotel also provides clean bedding and effective air conditioning, which contributed to a comfortable stay during the warm summer months.
